Control your YouTube with FoxyTunes
The latest update for FoxyTunes adds YouTube to the growing list of supported web players. This addition lets you not only control a single video, but also lets you navigate playlists full of videos. Do all this from the convenience of your FoxyTunes toolbar while you are surfing in other tabs.

Install the latest version and try it out with this Country YouTube playlist. Currently this feature only supports videos on YouTube.com, but we’re looking at ways to support embedded videos as well.
We know that you love your music and that YouTube is becoming a great source for music videos. We hope you enjoy this feature as much as we do.
As always, check it out and let us know what you think!
p.s. We’ve heard your feedback on the new version and the requests for Songbird and are already hard at work on the next update. More news to come shortly.

This is very frustrating. I do not like how it will automatically switch over to the YouTube and pause my music player. I like to listen to music from my music player sometimes while watching videos (many don’t require sound to be appreciated) and the fact that it won’t let both run at the same time is very constricting.

I’ve been looking at downloading videos from YouTube, it seems that YouTube and many other social network sites have changed their code in order to prevent certain sites from allowing you to download video content from them; most annoying, is there a foolproof alternative? Anyway, excellent blog post, I found it very insightful.

For having lived long, I have experienced many instances of being obliged, by better information or fuller consideration, to change opinions, even on large subjects, which I once thought right but found to be otherwise.
